Brandon, Curly Bracket CoWelcome to Curly Bracket Co where we feature all things geeky and gadgety. If you’re looking for a quirky gift only your nerdiest friend will love, you’ve come to the right place.

This site is a collection of my favorite geeky gifts that I’m excited to share with you – from one nerd to another.

My name’s Brandon and I’m from Pleasantville, New Jersey which is a short distance from Atlantic City.

My late nights are spent working for a local website development company as a full stack developer. I’ve worked there the last 6 years and enjoy that we get to work remotely from our home office. But I have over 10 years experience with computer programming. I started when I was 13 after my parents bought me my first computer for my birthday.

While you’re just going to sleep, I’m probably just starting my day, as I’m definitely a night owl and that’s when most of my creativity comes to life.

I love my job as a programmer and enjoy making things work from scratch and bringing a project to life. Dislikes include broken code, bad syntax, and cold pizza.

My girlfriend Alysha and I enjoy trying new restaurants on the weekends and seeing what trouble we can get into with the appetizer menu. She is working on starting her own food review blog which I’m also helping her set up, so stay tuned for that.

I also have a couple pet projects of my own that I am slowly working on, including a couple WordPress plugins, as well as this site. I prefer to just code and make things work rather than just make something look pretty so as you can tell, this site is pretty minimalistic – just the way I like it.

I have an insatiable interest for all things artificial intelligence and believe robots will take over the world if programmers like me let it happen – so watch out world. 😉

I share my home office with my super awesome maine coon cat – Sammy. He pretty much hangs out in my office all night with me while I code and is chill for the most part, except when I give him catnip – then he goes bonkers. Who needs Netflix when you can watch your crazy cat run around the house tripping balls? Did someone mention a laser pointer?

If I’m not coding I also enjoy playing with Lego and making functional items like phone charging stations and advent calendars for Christmas.

Thanks for visiting my site, I hope you totally geek out over all the fun products I’ve tried to include here.
